Brief history:
The Heddon Greta Skyline drive-in sat neglected for years until it was re-opened by Scott and Donna. Situated just outside Maitland in NSW, it should not be confused with the old Maitland Westside drive-in at Rutherford that has a dinosaur-like screen skeleton still standing.

Dusk approaches so its time for a movie at the Heddon Greta drive-in.

The Heddon Greta drive-in screens three sessions per night for most of the year and two in summer, outside of holidays it is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings only. It is one of only four drive-ins operating in NSW.

The ticket box design is typical of the Skyline/Consolidated drive-in circuit of NSW.

You can find out what is screening at Heddon Greta and visit the drive-in's web-site.

Projection and snack bar building with outdoor and indoor seating available.

Nothing beats real big screen movies at a drive-in. Thanks to Scott Seddon for information. Thanks to Matthew Kilderry for some of the photos used here. Taken June 1999.
